Fourth Annual Antique Tractor Show

The kings of tractors met again at Pond Spring on 21 April 2001.  These folks have been wonderful to have, and are greatly appreciated, and we hope that they will come back for many years to come.  Events like these perhaps do more good for the property with respect to drawing new visitors than perhaps from any other source.

Third Annual Antique Tractor Show and Swap Meet

 Despite a rather cold day, a third Antique Tractor Show was held at Pond Spring.  Despite the weather, we had a good turnout of participants.  We'll look forward to better weather next year!

Second Annual Antique Tractor Show and Swap Meet

    On April 10, 1999, the Wheeler Plantation hosted the 2nd show of this kind to be held on the grounds.  Well-attended, this fetched good publicity for ongoing restoration efforts.

 First Annual Antique Tractor Show and Crank-Up

    If these old farm implements, well, … crank your tractor, then this event would certainly have held your interest. On April 11, 1998, the spectacle of machinery ran the gamut. The tractors ran pretty well, too! This was a nice and fitting event for a plantation. Many thanks to the North Alabama Antique Tractor Club for its support.
